Primary Full-time Employment Settings of 1996 Masters Degree Recipients in Psychology

As might be expected given the focus of training at the master's level, current regulatory/licensing structures and organizational structures, the largest single proportion of master's recipients was employed in organized human service settings (e.g., hospitals, community mental health centers, and substance abuse facilities), while the next largest percentage was employed within educational settings (elementary and secondary schools).
